Cyd 1.1.22 released

We're pleased to announce Cyd 1.1.22 is released. There's a lot of new code in this release that is still hidden behind feature flags, so you won't be able to use it quite yet.

Here are some highlights for what's new:

  • Bugfix: Fix an error that was preventing logging into new X accounts (#657)
  • Bugfix: Make unfollowing people on X respect rate limits (#656)
  • Code quality: Refactoring to make it so different platform support (Facebook, Bluesky, etc.) can share more code with X (#594, #596, #599, #595)
  • Code quality: More tests (#608, #604)
  • i18n: Support for localization, though the app is still only in English (#609, #613, #622)
  • Huge new feature: The beginnings of Facebook support! But this is still behind a feature flag.
